Lakhs of devotees of Lord Ganesha visit Ganesh Pandal’s and Mandap’s to seek darshan of their beloved god and seek his blessings during the ten days of Ganesha Festival which starts on Ganesh Chaturthi and ends of Anant Chaturdashi.

About Lalbaugcha Raja :
The Lalbaugcha Raja, i.e., the King of Lalbaug, is undoubtedly the most famous Ganesha statue in entire Mumbai. The mandal was founded in 1934, and has grown to be the most visited one in the city.
It is believed that this Ganesha Idol is Navsacha Ganpati (which means the fulfiller of the wishes) and hence around 1.5 million people or more visit this Ganesh Pandal daily during the 10 day Ganeshotsav festival.
In 2016, Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated from 5th to 15th September 2016.
