The Alaska State Fair is one of the most happening State fair held annually in 300 acre of land at Palmer, Alaska.
This fair started in the year 1936 and since then in these 81 year it has gain lots popularity as it display the beauty and uniqueness of Alaska.
Exhibitors and Vendors from all over Alaska come to attend this fair and display their products, specially the big vegetables and panoramic flower gardens. Visitors from all over the world comes to enjoy this fair. Apart from this events like trade shows, horse shows, concerts, kid zone and boat storage are also a part of the fair.
The Fair also features thousands of exhibits, in categories including art, baked goods, canning, clay arts, crops, flowers, handwork and needlework, honey, livestock, photography, poultry, quilts, rabbits, sewing, spirited beverages, woodworking and many more.

2018 Palmer Alaska State Fair Timings :
- On weekdays (Monday — Friday), we’re open from noon to 10 p.m.
- On weekends (Saturday — Sunday), we’re open from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- On Labor Day, the Fair is open from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
