Ekadashi (Sanskrit: एकादशी) is the eleventh lunar day (Tithi) of the shukla (bright) or krishna (dark) paksha (fortnight) of every lunar month in the Hindu calendar (Panchang). The day is considered to be the most auspicious day dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
