There is probably no other place in the USA where Christmas is celebrated in such a unique way as in Hawaii.
Every year there is a festival of lights in Honolulu which is a grand display of Christmas lights for the entire month of December.
The 2017 Honolulu Christmas City Lights Festival will be the 32nd year of this annual celebration.
During this month long celebration, Honolulu Hale (City Hall) and the Civic Center Grounds come alive with a 50-foot Christmas tree, wreath exhibits, giant Yuletide displays and live entertainment.
The unique of thing about Honolulu Christmas City Lights is that the organizers come up with a new theme for the presentation of Shaka Santa, Mrs. Claus and their holiday dominion after every three years.
This year is the turn for the new theme which is “Santa’s Underwater Adventure.”
