Khetwadi Cha Raja Sarvajanik Mandal: 2014 Ganesh Chaturthi

Sarvajanik Shree Ganeshotsav Mandal, Khambata Lane at Khetwadi was established in 1970 with the help of founders like the late Balkrushna Gandhi and others. This Ganesh Idol is known as “Khetwadi Cha Raja”.

In 2011, a 28-feet tall Bal Ganesh standing on an elephant’s trunk on three toes was a major attraction at this Mandal.

Every year Hindus, Muslims, Parsis and Christians come together to celebrate the festival of Sarvajanik Shree Ganeshotsav.

Nearest Railway Station: The nearest stations are Charni Road and Sandhurst Road.

In 2014, Ganesha Chaturthi will be celebrated on 29th August 2014 and Anant Chaturdashi will be celebrated on 8th September 2014.
