Sarvajanik Shree Ganeshotsav Mandal, Khambata Lane at Khetwadi was established in 1970 with the help of founders like the late Balkrushna Gandhi and others. This Ganesh Idol is known as “Khetwadi Cha Raja”.
In 2011, a 28-feet tall Bal Ganesh standing on an elephant’s trunk on three toes was a major attraction at this Mandal.
Every year Hindus, Muslims, Parsis and Christians come together to celebrate the festival of Sarvajanik Shree Ganeshotsav.

In 2015, Ganesha Chaturthi will be celebrated on 17th September 2015 and Anant Chaturdashi will be celebrated on 28th September 2015.
