The Oregon State Fair is the official state fair of the U.S. state of Oregon. Every year this fair takes place in the month of August – September with last day being the Labor Day.
The Oregon State Fair take place at the 185-acre (0.75 km2) Oregon State Fairgrounds located in north Salem, the state capital.
Every year the fair has showcased Oregon crops and livestock, arts, and culture, and has hosted many food booths and vendors as well as judging competitions, horse racing and popular entertainers.

Oregon State Fair will be held in 2017 from 24th August to 4th September 2017. It will be the 152nd edition of the annual Oregon State Fair.

Some special events during Oregon State Fair 2017 –
Apart from the normal showcasing of Oregon crops and livestock, arts, and culture some specialities of 2017 Oregon State Fair include –
Display of flower gardens, quilts, apparel, cake decorating, cooking and many other skills that will be judged for the ever-sought blue ribbon.
Live music plays free on five stages throughout the fairgrounds, including a show by Joe Walsh from The Eagles.
The new “Rock U” Music Pavilion lets fairgoers play guitars, drums or a 10-foot long keyboard.
And if none of that interests you, there are rides and, of course, plenty of food.
