Rosh Hashanah 2017 Greeting Cards : Jewish New Year 5778

The Jewish New Year is known as Rosh Hashanah which means  “head of the year” or “first of the year” in Hebrew. This day also marks the anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve, the first man and woman in the world. This festival is celebrated for two days which begins on first day of the month of Tishrei which is the first month of the Jewish calendar.

On this day Jewish people greet each other saying “L’shanah Tovah” which means “A Good Year.” 

Rosh Hashanah 2017 begins in the evening of Wednesday, September 20 and ends in the evening of Friday, September 22.
