Sukkot also known as Feast of Booths or Feast of Tabernacles is a Jewish holiday celebrated on Tishri 15, the fifth day after Yom Kippur and 15th day after Rosh Hashanah.

Sukkot is one of the three Shalosh Regalim (Pilgrimage Festivals).

Celebrated over a seven day period, people stay in “Sukkot” which means “booths” a kind of temporary dwellings in memory of the period of wandering.
