As the Christmas arrives, comes with it the festive season and of display of colorful Christmas lights, specially in many parts of the United States and Europe.
One such popular display of Christmas lights, known as the Winterfest of Lights is set up in Ocean City, Maryland.
The annual Winterfest of Lights begins November 17th, and marks the holiday season in Ocean City, Maryland with dazzling displays of more than 1,000,000 lights which will be there for more than two and half month where the festivities draw thousands of visitors to Northside Park at 125th Street and bayside and the Ocean City Inlet.
At Northside Park, the centerpiece of the celebration, will be city’s 60-foot Christmas tree which looks magnificent Apart from this visitors get to see unique light setups befitting a seaside resort, with Surfing Santas, animated Sharks, Santa hooking a Marlin from a charter boat, jumping Marlin, and Santa playing softball.
Santa will also be there every night until December 23 to receive your children’s holiday wish list and for getting him photographed with your children.
Winterfest of Lights 2016 :
November 17, 2016 – January 1, 2017
Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.,
Friday & Saturday 5:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Admission is $5.00 for those 12 years and older, and FREE for those 11 years and younger.
